My small dog was running around outside and got pretty hot. When i brought her in, she began lapping up water at a fast pace. She's also a little sniffly so it got some nice sniffle noises in there too. I feel like this could work well for plenty of different character shots, from a monster, to a comedy-type shot of someone eating something like noodles, to a dog drinking water in an animation. Please let me know if you like the sound and what would improve it, so i can share better sounds in the future. If you like what you hear, check out my boyfriend and i on youtube. We do a channel based on florida, usa: https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uc-vcld4dce154hcigmpidha.

This was created by accident while trying to make engine noises. I can't remember the base sample but it's lost in the mix underneath reverb and other effects that create something that sounds to me like the interior of a helicopter. I hope that's useful to someone.

One of a series of recordings of me snapping my fingers. I've recorded myself finger snapping with one, two, and three fingers. These work nicely for certain kinds of ui buttons, and they might sound great as hand percussion in a music track. Recorded with a tascam dr-40x.

Rooster crowing. Processed with silence at either end, because there was some random ambiance that didn't add to the recording. Not quite the cliche "cock-a-doodle-doo," but it's clean and it works. Taken at an animal sanctuary with a zoom h2 in 120* pattern.
